Alison Kerry is an independent consultant and Stratos Associate who has been providing consulting services to the Canadian government and not-for profit organizations since 1988. Following a successful career with a major environmental and engineering consulting company, Ms. Kerry participated in the Interchange Program of the federal government as a Senior Evaluation Officer. She is now president of her own independent consulting company and specializes in the areas program evaluation, management frameworks, results-based planning, performance measurement, and policy analysis, particularly with respect to environmental and science-based programs.
Alison has conducted over 50 program evaluations, and has worked as part of the Stratos senior management team for the evaluations of the Natural Health Products Program, Strategic Environmental Assessment, the Canadian Shellfish Sanitation Program, the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, the Habitat Stewardship Program, the Wildlife Habitat Canada Conservation Stamp Program, and Border Air Quality Programs. She has also worked with science and laboratory managers across Canada to: develop business and capital plans; improve organizational performance; analyze training programs; investigate resourcing options; and, assess alternative delivery options.
Alison has worked internationally in Nigeria and the Caribbean on climate change capacity development projects and worked across Canada on climate change public outreach. She holds a Masters in Environmental Science and is a Certified Management Consultant, Credentialed Evaluator, and member of the Canadian Evaluation Society.
