Guy is the President and Senior Partner of the First Peoples Group (firstpeoplesgroup.com), Canada’s leading Indigenous consulting firm. A fifth generation Métis from Flin Flon, Manitoba, he remains closely connected to his community and is dedicated to the revival, renaissance and resurgence of First Nations, Métis and Inuit cultures through the arts, media and business. Guy is a thought leader on contemporary Indigenous issues, keynote speaker and writer.

As a former Senior Advisor (Reconciliation) for the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC), Guy assisted the TRC in developing the conversation around reconciliation with Canadians. He is a member of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights Standing Indigenous Advisory Committee. Guy’s first book of poetry, Little Athapapuskow, a Métis Love Story, was published in October 2017 by Saskatchewan’s Gabriel Dumont Institute.
