Rana joined Stratos in June 2021 as a consultant. As a member of Stratos’ Science, Innovation and Clean Economy (SICE) impact area, she supports a wide range of public- and private-sector projects focused on the design and delivery of complex policies, programs and initiatives rooted in transformational changes in science, innovation and/or clean economy. Rana is passionate about environmental equity and sustainability. She appreciates culture, diversity, and collaboration, and believes community engagement is the key for environmental stewardship.

Prior to joining Stratos, Rana spent several years executing and delivering multi-disciplinary environmental consulting projects internationally. Her areas of expertise include environmental management, assessment, auditing, and compliance.

Rana holds a Master of Science in Environmental Monitoring, Modelling and Management from King’s College London, a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from the American University of Beirut, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Environmental Management and Assessment from Algonquin College. Rana is a volunteer with the Canadian Red Cross and is a continuous advocate for animal welfare.
