Samantha joined Stratos in 2016, bringing a wealth of experience from the public, private and non-profit sectors. She combines her skills in data collection, analysis and communication with her abilities to develop strategic plans, build capacity, facilitate multi-stakeholder workshops and produce compelling content for diverse audiences.
Samantha has supported a variety of public sector clients on clean technology and science innovation, risk management, and corporate sustainability practices. These include Crown Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada, Natural Resources Canada, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, and Parks Canada. Samantha has also had the opportunity to enhance the approaches of mining companies and industry associations, as well as within the northern context, supporting co-management environmental impact review boards.
Before joining Stratos, Samantha completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Carleton University and worked as a research analyst, communications officer, travel consultant, and English teacher, all of which contributed to her well-rounded understanding of and skills in providing support to a diverse set of clients. In her spare time, Samantha enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
