Tara Matar is a multilingual, business professional with over 8 years of experience holding positions in Project Management, Business Analysis and Consultative Sales. She joined Stratos as a Senior Consultant with a specialization in Project Management in August 2020. Tara works closely with key clients in the public sector including Natural Resources Canada and Public Services and Procurement Canada. She enjoys hands-on participation in projects that impact communities and organizations while working to build her skills in sustainability consulting.

Before joining Stratos, Tara was an independent consultant working with clients including Export Development Canada and the Office of Auditor General in IT Project Management and business solutions delivery. She worked closely with executives and senior managers on projects from initiation to completion, consulting and advising them on projects and business performance metrics.

Tara holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business from the Sprott School of Business with a specialization in Strategic Management and is currently pursing her Master of Art degree at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) at Carleton University. Tara also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. When not working, you can find Tara practicing yoga and going on hiking adventures with her family.
